Arena Location

The Nora Starks Memorial Horse Arena and the associated warm up arena are located at the Cherokee County Fairgrounds, which is just off US Highway 64/74 West.  The address is 9275 US Hwy 64, Murphy, NC 28906. Turn from Highway 64/74 onto Fairgrounds Circle, a private drive.  The turn is near the 11 mile marker traveling from Murphy,  which is about 11 miles east of the Tennessee state line. There is a small yellow metal building facing the highway where you turn.  After you go through the chain link gate, take the far right gravel drive to the horse trailer parking lot. At events, cars should turn right after going through the chain link gate and then take the first gravel drive on the left that goes behind the building with the large open air roof. 

At this time, the Nora Starks Memorial Horse Arena is closed due to a drainage pipe failure under the surface. The associated warm up arena is available for use.
